Skills of Success

Our aim in providing a SOS or Life Skills Programme is to develop a more confident and rounded young person, by giving them the opportunities that they may have missed as a result of their disability or other factors.

Keyworkers have a a vital role in identifying with the student and where possible parents and carer’s, the areas that a student needs help and assistance with. Some students simply need to develop their wheelchair driving skills, whilst other will want to understand how to manage their finances, or become a budding Jamie Oliver or Alan Titchmarsh

Through the SOS Programme our young people gain confidence, can earn the respect of their peers and see themselves maturing into that well rounded person, and be in a position with their academic achievements to make their contribution and mark in higher education or within a alternative social setting.
