Valence has a range of first class accommodation. 

For teaching and learning we have modern well equipped classrooms and a recent £2.7 million investment has ensured that all the facilities are bang up to date with the latest technology as well as large spaces to accommodate children and young people who have mobility difficulties. 

There are rooms provided specifically for primary aged students and all subjects have secondary specialist classrooms including well equipped facilities for science, design technology, food technology and  art.  A new music facility is being provided this year. 

There are a wide range of specialist sports and physical education facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool, sports hall and we are currently planning a new health and fitness centre as well as an outdoor sports and play area.

Residential accommodation has been completely renewed during the past two years with purpose built bungalows and a refurbished block being provided.  This £5.2 million project is allowing students to enjoy the most up to date and well equipped accommodation and it affords excellent opportunities for learning life and social skills as well as ensuring that students' privacy and dignity is secured and their social and leisure needs are fully met. 

The school has a range of specialist health care facilities including a hydrotherapy pool, therapy rooms, a fully equippeddental surgery, clinic rooms and sick bay accommodation.  There are modern personal care facilities in all parts of the school.

General accommodation includes a main hall, games rooms, a student common room and facilities to accommodate parents and visitors.  There are also extensive grounds including a newly provided woodland walk which allows full access to the park land and lake. 

The school has an ambitious plan to make further improvements to its already excellent accommodation as part of it Sports College developments.
