Westerham Fine Food & Drink Festival - 17th June 2017

Valence school is providing a very British way of celebrating the woman who believed “we have more in common than that which divides us”. Come along and join the Valence School community on Saturday 17th June in order to pay tribute to the MP Jo Cox by enjoying a range of summer activities within the delightful setting of the School’s grounds.

In addition to a large picnic area for families and friends to meet up and share food, there will be music and street stalls selling local produce as part of the ‘Westerham Fine Food and Drink Festival’ which has been organised by the school as part of its ‘Food for Life’ project. The event is fully licenced and there will be a range of alcoholic drinks on sale for consumption with your picnic as well as plenty to take home as well should you wish!

Whilst you visit, you will also be able to visit the Westerham Horticultural Society Summer Show to see this quintessentially English tradition of exhibiting garden and kitchen produce.

After the recent terrible events in Manchester and London, joining together as a community is as important as ever. The event is totally free and there is plenty of parking and we look forward to seeing you.
