This is an exciting opportunity to teach sports particularly if you are considering a career as a PE Teacher and want experience that will enable you to progress to that level.

You will plan and deliver appropriate adapted and modified PE lessons to young disabled students within the school.  You will have experience of delivering sport and want to gain additional experience in PE and school/club disability sport.

You must be enthusiastic and have a genuine passion for sports coaching and PE, and demonstrate a continuing involvement in sport.  You will also have excellent communication skills and be able to inspire disabled young people to be actively interested in sport and swimming

You will have attended post-16 education and achieved Level 3 qualifications (A’Levels or equivalent) and ideally a National Governing Body (NGB) Level 1 Sports qualification.  Experience of working with SEND students is desirable, however what is more important is an aspiration to support disabled students to achieve.

We offer a collaborative and friendly staff environment in a campus school setting where you will have the chance to make a real and positive impact on the lives of Valence students.  We also provide professional and continuous training programmes and a supportive career progression.

Pre-application visits are warmly encouraged so you can see the school in action.
