This year, the talented students of Hawking 7 at Valence have been cooking up more than just tasty meals—they’ve been working towards a BTEC cooking qualification as part of their curriculum. Along the way, their creativity and passion for food inspired a brilliant idea: to create their very own Valence Recipe Book!

Each student selected their favourite recipes, from hearty mains to sweet treats, and collaborated to design a cookbook that reflects their hard work and love of cooking. The result is a vibrant, student-created collection that’s as fun to read as it is to cook from.
