Festival of Motoring Sunday 28th June 2026

Get ready for a high-octane day at Valence School

The 2026 Festival of Motoring is back, and it's bigger, faster, and more thrilling than ever! Whether you're a car or motorcycle enthusiast – or just love a fun day – you won't want to miss this.

 

Thrills on the Track

Watch competitors tackle the Autosolo challenge, racing against the clock on timed loops around the school grounds. Feeling adventurous ? Spectators can hop in for a passenger ride and experience the rush of high-speed racing firsthand !

Car, Bikes & Spectacle

Explore the display paddock filled with classic, performance and rare vehicles.  From gleaming vintage cars to roaring motorcycles, there's something to excite every gearhead.

 

Fun for All

  • Delicious food and drink options, (or bring your own picnic!)
  • Stalls, auto jumble and live music
  • Children’s activities and entertainment
  • Full live commentary so you don't miss a moment of the action

 

Support a Great Cause

All profits go directly to Valence  School, supporting children and young people aged 4-19 with physical disabilities and complex medical needs.

 

Bonus: This event takes place outside the ULEZ zone – easy access for all!

 

Event Schedule

  • 9:00am – Display cars and Autosolo setup
  • 10:00am – Public entry opens
  • 10:30am – Autosolo racing kicks off
  • 12:30–1:0pm – Lunch break for competitors
  • 3:30pm – Autosolo finishes
  • 4:00pm - Event ends.

(Timings are approximate: entry times are definitive)

 

Admission Prices

  • Adults: £7.50
  • Children: £5.00
  • Family: £20 (2 adults and up to 4 children)

Payment on the day at entry. 

 

Display Paddock Entry

Want to show off your car or bike? Entry is £15 per vehicle (up to 5 people included). Arrive by 9:30am to secure your spot. Email friends@valence.kent.sch.uk to register.

 

Food and Drinks

From hearty meals to snacks and refreshments, including a fully stocked bar, there's something for every appetite. 

 

Parking

  • General parking and disabled parking via the main driveway
  • Display paddock via the main driveway.
  • WAV parking via the rear school driveway (solid surface required). Clear signage provided
